Program Code: Animation/Filmmaking/Special Effects - 1 week movie making camp

In this camp, students will create their own stop-motion animated movies and live action special FX sequences using the magic of the Hollywood Green Screen. Work collaboratively to create your own original Super Hero story using LEGO blocks minifigures while learning the art of stop-motion animation! You will have the freedom to create something totally original, or try a spin-off of Star Wars, Minecraft, or The LEGO® Movie. Students will create and animate their own Lego movies using the art of stop-motion animation. Students will write and create the stories, film the movie using iPods(provided), and become the voices for all the characters in their movie. By the end of camp, you will have created your own animated Lego superhero short film and live action special effects sequence! A Link will be provided for access to student films online!
